Cynthia L. Maskol

Cynthia L. Maskol is Of Counsel in the Baltimore office. Her practice focuses on general business and insurance litigation.

During her career, Cynthia has garnered extensive experience handling and managing matters involving insurance sales practices, suitability, and coverage disputes, including class actions. Additionally, Cynthia is an experienced litigator of property and casualty, commercial, corporate, employment, construction, product liability and contract disputes.

Cynthia brings to the firm the unique perspective of an attorney with both practical and in-house legal experience. She has several years of trial and appellate experience, and for several years was employed as corporate in-house counsel, managing national litigation for a large life insurance carrier.

In her practice, Cynthia regularly consults and provides risk assessment and mitigation advice on issues impacting day-to-day corporate operations. Among the areas in which she provides consultation are insurance sales practices, claims policies and procedures, and the national management and oversight of complex insurance litigation matters.
