David L. Tillem is a Partner in the White Plains office. His legal practice focuses on commercial and contract litigation, state and federal litigation, bankruptcy, and debtor/creditor workouts.
He has appeared before bankruptcy courts throughout the United States and in all levels of state and federal courts in New York State. He has managed numerous complex litigations on behalf of creditors, leasing companies, banks, automobile finance companies and real estate companies. He has acted as counsel to Official Committees of Unsecured Creditors in Chapter 11 and as counsel to a Chapter 7 trustee.
David has lectured on behalf of the New York State Bar Association on topics ranging from collections of judgments to bankruptcy, including lectures on the changes under the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005.
