Harold J. Moskowitz is a founding Partner of the firm in the New York City office and a member of the Executive Committee. He focuses his practice on advising and counseling clients with respect to the development and expansion of their business activities, working specifically with insurance brokers, insurers and reinsurers in all phases of their business activities.
Harold’s litigation practice concentrates on alternative dispute resolution. In 2006, he was named to the executive committee of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR), whose mission is to serve as a global advocate and resource for mediation and other of alternative methods to manage and resolve disputes. Harold was a pioneer in this area of law, and for many years he has worked to foster alternative dispute resolution.
Harold has authored articles and lectured extensively on topics of interest to the insurance industry. He has been nominated to The International Who’s Who of Insurance & Reinsurance Lawyers 2009.
He also has been active philanthropically. Harold is a past Chair of the UJA Federation, General Insurance Division, has been a UJA Insurance Division honoree, and he continues to be involved with UJA. He also is a member of the Board of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation.
