John P. O’Toole is Of Counsel in the New Jersey office. His practice focuses on commercial and real estate as well as defense of professional malpractice claims against accountants, real estate brokers, attorneys and title agents.
John has extensive experience representing clients in commercial and transactional matters for a wide-range of issues. He has obtained favorable judgments for clients including over $1 million in compensatory damages awarded in a commercial vehicle Replevin action and the dismissal of malpractice claims against attorneys and accountants in New Jersey. Additionally, he participates in functions with both the Essex County and New Jersey Bar Associations and serves as a member of the District VA Ethics Committee based in Newark, N.J.
Prior to joining Wilson Elser, he represented several clients in commercial and transactional matters.
