Laurie Cohen focuses her practice on health law, representing a large and growing base of health care providers in corporate and regulatory matters. She has a broad range of experience providing business, transactional and regulatory guidance and services to individual hospitals, health care networks, physician groups and other health care providers. She also serves as counsel to a number of health care associations.

Laurie understands that health care providers are confronted with the same issues as many other businesses, with the added complexity of a myriad of regulatory requirements. She has built long-term client relationships by anticipating how her clients can best position themselves to prepare for or influence change as well as take advantage of new opportunities in the dynamic health care field.

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Laurie served as the counsel to the Division of Governmental Affairs of the Medical Society of the State of New York.
