Lorraine E. J. Gallagher is a partner in the White Plains office. Her legal practice focuses on the representation of domestic and foreign product manufacturers, in both commercial matters and litigation.
Lorraine works on an assortment of regulatory issues and coordinates product recalls for a variety of clients involving the CPSC, NHTSA, and the FDA, as well as other recalls not regulated by any agency. She also works with clients on statutory reporting to these agencies.
She assists manufacturers in ensuring their compliance with applicable product warning requirements and works with them in preparing product manuals and prepares contracts for manufacturers and component part suppliers. Lorraine coordinates a national warranty program for a motorcycle manufacturer, which includes litigating and resolving lemon law issues. She also represents manufacturers in lemon law, Magnuson Moss, UCC and warranty claims involving motor vehicles, boats, engines, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
Additionally, she has been involved in successfully mediating and arbitrating commercial matters. These matters include disputes between dealers, distributors and product manufacturers.
