Peter A. Meisels is a Partner based in the White Plains office. He has extensive experience in trial and appellate courts at both the state and federal levels, as well as before administrative agencies. His practice focuses on municipal and public officials’ liability, civil rights and commercial litigation.
Peter's litigation expertise includes contracts with municipal entities and private parties and has been involved in handling intermunicipal agreements and Article 78 proceedings challenging governmental determinations. He also has significant experience with state and federal civil rights issues, land use and zoning, challenges to overly restrictive or confiscatory zoning ordinances, eminent domain and construction project disputes including extra work and delay claims. Prior to joining the firm, he served as Deputy County Attorney for the County of Westchester.
