Thomas W. Tobin is a Partner in the New York and White Plains offices. He frequently represents international manufacturers, product distributors and construction companies in business litigation and arbitrations involving contract interpretation and UCC issues.
In addition, Tom is an engineer as well as a lawyer. He litigates and consults in product liability area.
The nature of Tom’s practice routinely takes him around the world consulting with clients and around the United States defending them. He has tried, or been involved in trials, in more than a dozen states and has defended clients in almost every state.
Tom is Chairman of the firm’s e-Discovery Practice Group. He has lectured extensively on the preservation, review and production of electronically stored information.
From 1987 through 1990, Tom was the Managing Partner of Wilson Elser’s Tokyo office. He was registered with the Japanese Ministry of Justice as the 25th Gaikokuho Jimu Bengoshi (foreign law solicitor), 1987-1990.
